What OPS Logistics Provides — Services & Capabilities
Services & capabilities

Four ways to move it. One company behind all of them.

Air when the deadline decides. Ocean when the volume does. Road for the first and last mile, rail for the long land corridors in between. We plan across all four and quote the one that actually fits your cargo — not the one we happen to have space on.

01
Mode — Air

Air Freight

The mode you pay for when the date is not negotiable. A production line waiting on a component, a pharmaceutical consignment with a shelf life, a launch that ships on the day it ships. Days instead of weeks, at a cost per kilo that only makes sense when time is worth more than money.

  • Time-critical and next-flight-out services
  • Consolidated air freight for lower cost per kilo
  • Charter for oversized, urgent or high-security cargo
  • Temperature-controlled and pharmaceutical handling
  • Airport-to-airport or full door-to-door with clearance

02
Mode — Ocean

Ocean Freight

The cheapest way to move serious volume, and the mode most global trade still runs on. Slower and far more exposed to congestion, weather and rolled bookings — which is precisely why the planning around it matters more than the booking itself.

  • Full container load (FCL) on all major trade lanes
  • Less than container load (LCL) consolidation
  • Reefer containers for chilled and frozen cargo
  • Break bulk, flat rack and out-of-gauge shipments
  • Port-to-port or door-to-door with clearance both ends

03
Mode — Road

Road Freight

Every shipment is a road shipment at least twice — once at each end. Road also carries whole lanes on its own across regional corridors, and it is where most cross-border delay actually happens, because that is where the paperwork gets checked.

  • Full truck load (FTL) and part load (LTL) groupage
  • Container drayage between ports, terminals and depots
  • Cross-border corridors with customs cleared in advance
  • Temperature-controlled trailers and dedicated vehicles
  • Final mile delivery with scheduling and reattempts

Mode — Rail

Rail Freight

The mode most shippers forget to ask about. On long land corridors rail lands between ocean and air on both cost and transit time, and it carries a materially lower carbon cost per tonne-kilometre than road — which increasingly shows up in your customers' reporting as well as your own.

  • Intermodal containers moved on rail with road at each end
  • Block train and wagon-load options on established corridors
  • Lower emissions per tonne-kilometre than long-haul road
  • Terminal handling and onward drayage arranged as one movement
  • Cross-continental corridors where rail beats ocean on time

06 — Added services

The work around the shipment

Freight rarely arrives late because a plane was slow. It arrives late because something on this list was done badly, or not at all.

Customs clearance

Classification, valuation, entry preparation and clearance handled by our own brokers at origin and destination.

Export documentation

Commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and the paperwork each destination actually requires.

Packing & crating

Export-grade packing, palletisation and crating for fragile, high-value or awkwardly shaped consignments.

Dangerous goods

Classification, declaration and compliant handling for regulated cargo moving by air, ocean, road and rail.

Temperature control

Chilled and frozen handling with monitoring through the chain, for cargo that fails quietly if it warms up.

Tracking & proof of delivery

Live milestones from collection to signature, with exceptions flagged while there is still a decision to make.

Duty & tax management

Duty calculation, deferment and reclaim, plus advice on incoterms so the right party carries the right cost.

Cargo insurance

Marine and all-risk cover arranged on request through licensed providers, so a loss does not become your problem alone.
