Terms of Use — OPS Logistics

Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of this website. They are not the terms on which we carry your freight — that is a separate document, and section 1 explains the difference.

Version
1.0
Effective from
10 August 2026
Applies to
opslogistic.com and its subpages
Section 1

Two different documents, and this is the smaller one

People reach for "terms and conditions" as a single idea. In freight it is two, and the one that matters when something goes wrong is not this page.

This document

Terms of Use — the website

Rules for using opslogistic.com. Applies to anyone who visits, whether or not you ever ship with us.

  • What you may and may not do on this site
  • Who owns the content on it
  • What our published information can be relied on for
  • Links to other websites
  • Liability for the site itself
The other document

Trading terms — your shipments

The contract governing freight we carry for you. This is the one that decides what happens when cargo is delayed, damaged or lost.

  • Liability limits and how they are calculated
  • Deadlines for notifying a claim
  • Insurance, and what is not covered by default
  • Rights over goods where charges are unpaid
  • Your obligations as the shipper
If you are trying to work out who pays for damaged cargo, this is the wrong page. Ask us for the trading terms that apply to your shipments, or start with the FAQ, which explains how carrier liability and cargo insurance differ.
Section 2
Acceptance

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.

Section 3
Who we are

This site is operated by OPS Logistics, of 4463 Camino De La Plaza, San Ysidro, CA 92173, United States. Where these terms say "we", "us" or "our", they mean OPS Logistics.

Section 4
Using this site

You may use this site to find information about our services, request quotes, book collections, track shipments and contact us. You must use it lawfully and in a way that does not restrict anyone else's use of it.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or uninterrupted, and we may restrict access to parts of it.

Section 5
Our content

The content of this site — text, layout, graphics, logos and design — belongs to us or is used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property law.

You may view it, and print or download extracts for your own reference or to share internally within your organisation. You may not republish it, sell it, or present it as your own. Where you share it, please keep it attributed to us and unaltered.

Trade marks, product names and logos belonging to other companies remain theirs, and appearing on this site does not imply any endorsement or connection.

Section 6
Accuracy of information

We take care over what we publish, but the information on this site is general guidance, not advice for your particular shipment. It does not take account of your goods, your route, your commercial terms or the rules of the countries involved.

Some pages describe conditions that change — tariff and duty information, regional operational updates, market commentary and service descriptions. These are correct to the best of our knowledge when published, and they can go out of date. Always check the date on a page before relying on it, and confirm anything that affects a decision with us directly.

Where the site and a document we have issued you disagree, the document wins. Your quotation, booking confirmation and our trading terms are the operative documents for any shipment — this website is not.

Section 7
Tracking & account tools

Tracking information is provided as it reaches us from the parties handling a consignment, and there can be a delay between something happening and it appearing. A tracking status is an indication of progress rather than a guarantee, and it is not a substitute for the delivery record.

Where you hold account credentials, keep them confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out using them. Tell us promptly if you believe they have been compromised.

Section 8
Links to other sites

Where we link to another website — a customs authority, a published report, a partner — we do so because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or how they handle your information.

You may link to this site from your own, provided you do so fairly and without suggesting an association or endorsement that does not exist.

Section 9
Liability for this site

This site is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, including lost profits, lost business or indirect loss.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, this clause does not affect your statutory rights.

Liability relating to shipments we carry is dealt with in our trading terms, not here, and is subject to the international conventions that govern transport.

Section 10
Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version and date at the top of this page show when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published here when you use the site. Please check it from time to time.

Section 11
Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States, and disputes relating to them are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory laws in your own country. Contracts for carriage may be governed by different law and by international conventions — see our trading terms.

Section 12
Contact

Questions about these terms, or about anything published on this site, go to info@opslogistic.com or +1 858-428-7703. Or write to us at 4463 Camino De La Plaza, San Ysidro, CA 92173, United States.

How we handle personal information is covered separately in our privacy policy.

Section 13

What you may and may not do here

Most of this is obvious and nobody reading it in good faith will fall foul of it. It is set out plainly so there is no argument about where the line sits.

You may

Use it as intended

  • Browse, search and read anything published here
  • Request quotes, book collections and track shipments
  • Print or save extracts for your own use or your colleagues'
  • Quote us with attribution and a link back
  • Share pages with anyone you think would find them useful
You may not

Use it against us or others

  • Scrape, harvest or systematically copy the site or its data
  • Attempt to access accounts, systems or data that are not yours
  • Introduce malicious code, or probe the site for vulnerabilities without permission
  • Overload the site with automated requests
  • Submit false shipment or contact details
  • Use the site to send unlawful, abusive or misleading material
  • Republish our content as your own or resell it
On security research: if you think you have found a vulnerability, tell us rather than demonstrating it. Get in touch and we will work with you — responsible disclosure is welcome, unannounced testing is not.
The other documents

These are not the only terms that apply

If you ship with us, the trading terms govern the shipment. If you are wondering what we do with your data, that is the privacy policy. If you want money back, that is the refund policy. Ask and we will send you whichever one you need.
