These terms govern your use of this website. They are not the terms on which we carry your freight — that is a separate document, and section 1 explains the difference.
People reach for "terms and conditions" as a single idea. In freight it is two, and the one that matters when something goes wrong is not this page.
Rules for using opslogistic.com. Applies to anyone who visits, whether or not you ever ship with us.
The contract governing freight we carry for you. This is the one that decides what happens when cargo is delayed, damaged or lost.
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.
This site is operated by OPS Logistics, of 4463 Camino De La Plaza, San Ysidro, CA 92173, United States. Where these terms say "we", "us" or "our", they mean OPS Logistics.
You may use this site to find information about our services, request quotes, book collections, track shipments and contact us. You must use it lawfully and in a way that does not restrict anyone else's use of it.
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or uninterrupted, and we may restrict access to parts of it.
The content of this site — text, layout, graphics, logos and design — belongs to us or is used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property law.
You may view it, and print or download extracts for your own reference or to share internally within your organisation. You may not republish it, sell it, or present it as your own. Where you share it, please keep it attributed to us and unaltered.
Trade marks, product names and logos belonging to other companies remain theirs, and appearing on this site does not imply any endorsement or connection.
We take care over what we publish, but the information on this site is general guidance, not advice for your particular shipment. It does not take account of your goods, your route, your commercial terms or the rules of the countries involved.
Some pages describe conditions that change — tariff and duty information, regional operational updates, market commentary and service descriptions. These are correct to the best of our knowledge when published, and they can go out of date. Always check the date on a page before relying on it, and confirm anything that affects a decision with us directly.
Where the site and a document we have issued you disagree, the document wins. Your quotation, booking confirmation and our trading terms are the operative documents for any shipment — this website is not.
Tracking information is provided as it reaches us from the parties handling a consignment, and there can be a delay between something happening and it appearing. A tracking status is an indication of progress rather than a guarantee, and it is not a substitute for the delivery record.
Where you hold account credentials, keep them confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out using them. Tell us promptly if you believe they have been compromised.
Where we link to another website — a customs authority, a published report, a partner — we do so because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or how they handle your information.
You may link to this site from your own, provided you do so fairly and without suggesting an association or endorsement that does not exist.
This site is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, including lost profits, lost business or indirect loss.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, this clause does not affect your statutory rights.
Liability relating to shipments we carry is dealt with in our trading terms, not here, and is subject to the international conventions that govern transport.
We may update these terms. The version and date at the top of this page show when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published here when you use the site. Please check it from time to time.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States, and disputes relating to them are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory laws in your own country. Contracts for carriage may be governed by different law and by international conventions — see our trading terms.
Questions about these terms, or about anything published on this site, go to info@opslogistic.com or +1 858-428-7703. Or write to us at 4463 Camino De La Plaza, San Ysidro, CA 92173, United States.
How we handle personal information is covered separately in our privacy policy.
Most of this is obvious and nobody reading it in good faith will fall foul of it. It is set out plainly so there is no argument about where the line sits.
If you ship with us, the trading terms govern the shipment. If you are wondering what we do with your data, that is the privacy policy. If you want money back, that is the refund policy. Ask and we will send you whichever one you need.
